Many states and territories require attorneys to complete a certain amount of MCLE to maintain their license to practice law. LegalEdge offers a variety of programs to earn MCLE credits.

Attorneys must complete 15 credits per reporting period. Requirements include the following:

Attendance Reporting Procedure
Attendance reporting is ultimately the responsibility of the attorney, however LegalEdge reports attendance to the state within 30 days of the attorney’s completion of a program. Please make sure to provide your attorney license number in your account under My Profile, so we can report your attendance.
Paralegals in regulated jurisdictions can meet their CLE requirements by completing accredited CLE programs through LegalEdge.
What are the CLE requirements for Texas paralegals?
Total CLE Hours: 6 hours annually
Required Categories: At least 1 hour in legal ethics
Self-Application: Not allowed
Program Eligibility: All Texas CLE-accredited programs qualify for paralegal credit.
