AI & Technology LawSpecialty Credit
The program goes beyond basic prompt writing to provide practical techniques for crafting clear, well-structured prompts, using iteration, ethically supplying appropriate context, protecting confidential, privileged, and sensitive information, evaluating AI-generated work, and recognizing hallucinations and other reliability risks. Participants will examine how duties of technological competence, confidentiality, supervision, candor to tribunals, verification, and independent professional judgment apply when using AI for legal research, drafting, analysis, and agentic workflows. The focus remains on using AI as a tool while ensuring that human judgment stays at the center of every legal task. Attendees will leave with stronger prompting skills and greater confidence in using AI ethically, securely, and safely.
