Construction projects frequently give rise to complex legal and insurance issues involving project delays, defective and/or damaged work, concerns regarding contractor performance, property damage, and contractual risk allocation. Attorneys advising developers, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and insurers must understand how these risks are allocated under construction contracts and insurance policies, including builders risk/course of construction coverage.
In this CLE webinar, Khalid Aziz, Attorney at Miller Nash LLP, will provide practical legal guidance on managing construction risks in real estate development. Drawing on real-world construction and insurance disputes, the webinar will examine key legal issues, including delay claims, construction defects, differing site conditions, notice and claims requirements, contractor liability, and insurance coverage considerations.
